Too Haute Cowgirls Win Chocolate Awards

Denver, February 8, 2010 – Too Haute Cowgirls, Chocolate Popcorn Confections, won two awards at the annual Say it with Chocolate fundraiser at the Tattered Cover in downtown Denver.

The event raises money for the Third Way Center – a residential treatment and education program for troubled teens and families.

The evening was a fiesta of chocolate in every form imaginable featuring some of Denver’s best pastry chefs and some very creative and delicious treats. Unlimited sampling and a silent auction contributed to a successful evening for all.

There were three categories of judging: Professional, Celebrity, and, of course, the People. Too Haute Cowgirls took home Best in Show in the miscellaneous category for The Good the Bad and the Peanut Butter judged by the celebrities, and the Special Mention Category for the People’s Choice.

Deanna Liebl and Amy Tarrant launched Too Haute Cowgirls in September, 2009, with 7 flavors of gourmet popcorn including Fistful of Fleur de Sel, Chili con Chocolate, Cowgirl Coffee, End of the Trail Mix, Mutton Bustin Milk Chocolate, The Good the Bad and the Peanut Butter, and Blisters on my Buttercrunch.
