Cowgirl Bridget’s Fall Favorites from Woman-Owned Businesses – Too Haute Cowgirls

Cowgirl Bridget’s Fall Favorites from Woman-Owned Businesses

A good cowgirl always supports her business-owning women wherever possible. In the case of gearing up for fall, it’s an absolute joy to indulge in these cooler-weather accessories while showing camaraderie with other woman-owned businesses at the same time.

Ladies, get your autumn on with these cowgirl-approved tried-and-true gems!

For cozying up at home

It’s time to layer up and this warm & cozy WAFFLE LINEN ROBE from Rough Linen is perfect for those weekend days when I just don’t want to take off my pjs but man is it chilly in her! I’m going to take lazy Sundays to another level and celebrate robe life by breaking out a bag of Srira-Cha-Cha to add a little extra sass to my Sunday vibes.

For getting outside into that crisp autumn air

It’s not fall until I hit up the orchard or check out the changing leaves of the trees. Time to put away my mules and sandals and shift gears back into boots! These ELIZA BOOTS from Able are the perfect combo of western and chic for my tastes. I’m going to wear it with my new Sezane dress in a dreamy fall floral and drink up a bit more sun while picking myself some apples at the local orchard. If I take a bag of Blisters on My Buttercrunch with me I can pair it with a freshly picked apple and enjoy the tastes of a caramel apple without the mess!

For carving all the pumpkins!

My favorite fall activity is probably pumpkin carving! Am I crazy?? I’m a sucker for twists on the classic Jack-o-lantern faces. Cover the floor in plastic, spread out my tools and pumpkins, plop me down in front of the tv with a series of scary movies in the queue, light my Netflix and .... Chai & Macadamia Milk candle from Moods by Yemmie and I’m entertained for hours. A bottle of Olivia Brion ‘Les Vagabondes’ Tempranillo paired with a bag of Fistful of Fleur de Sel and it’s the perfect Friday night at home.

For college football Saturday tailgating. #GOTEAM

Saturdays tailgating with friends and fans alike call for the big guns. I’m toting around a bag of Have Bacon Will Travel to make sure I have snacks at the ready as I wander from one tailgate party to another! I’d better toss in some extra bags because I’m definitely going to have to share. I’ve got some local brews to take with me to keep me hydrated ;) and a cozy cardigan from Navygrey to keep me warm when the sun disappears behind the clouds.

For gathering friends around the backyard bonfire

Ok, so I’m not actually camping, but the firepit in the yard has a crackling blaze going and it is surrounded by friends! It’s not quite cold enough for hot cocoa so I’ll replace it with Salted Cocoa Caramel Corn to pass around the group.

I want to enjoy my night socializing and not worry about food prep so I’m supplementing the popcorn with Cowgirl Creamery’s The Starter Course and letting them do the heavy lifting! It's sure to be a hit and a great pairing for the popcorn.
